Description:
The Town of Coalhurst (Owner) wishes to obtain proposals from qualified Contractors for the construction of the 45 Avenue Stormwater Trunk Main.
Major work items for this contract will include the following (approximation):
Supply and Installation of approximately 475 m of 1,500 mm diameter concrete pipe. The inclusion of an additional 250 m of 1,200 mm diameter concrete is budget dependent.
Supply and installation of precast concrete vaults,
Connections to existing stormwater infrastructure,
Asphalt road restoration,
Landscape restoration,
The construction of approximately 500 m of a 2.5 m wide asphalt may be included.
Traffic accommodation along 45th Avenue and adjoining roads.
Care of Water, and Erosion and Sediment Control.
The intent of this qualification process is to allow the Owner to rate and select eligible Contractors that will bid the necessary services to facilitate the construction of the above noted project.
Through this request for qualifications the Owner seeks to ensure that companies that bid on this Contract have the experience, skill, ability, resources, bonding, integrity, and safety requirements needed to complete the specific work of this project.
