Description:
The Town of Coaldale wishes to obtain proposals from qualified Contractors for the construction of the Sanitary Trunk Main Highway 845 project.
The proposed project will include the provision of installation of deep utilities by open cut and directional drilling, Highway 845 auger bore installation, hydrant installation on existing watermain, surface works restoration, pathway construction, landscape restoration within the proposed Sanitary Trunk Main Highway 845 extents.
Major work items for this contract may include, but limited to the following:
Topsoil stripping and stockpiling,
Common excavation,
Care of water and erosion and settlement control, which may include trench dewatering,
Traffic accommodation for work alongside Highway 845 and necessary approvals with Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors,
Supply and installation of approximately 360m of 600mm PVC sanitary main,
220m of open cut installation.
100m of horizontal directional drilling installation.
40m Highway 845 auger bore installation.
Tie to existing sanitary systems at 16 Avenue & 14 Avenue.
Sanitary by-pass pumping,
Installation of new hydrant on existing waterline,
Surface works restoration,
Asphalt pathway installation,
Topsoil placement and seeding landscape restoration.
