Description:
The Town of Coaldale wishes to obtain proposals from qualified Contractors for the construction of the Sanitary Trunk Main Highway 845 project.
The proposed project will include the provision of surface removals, topsoil stripping, installation of deep utilities by open cut, surface works restoration, pathway construction, landscape restoration within the proposed Sanitary Trunk Main 16 Avenue extents.
Major work items for this contract may include, but limited to the following:
Topsoil stripping and stockpiling,
Common excavation,
Care of water and erosion and settlement control, which may include trench dewatering,
Traffic accommodation for work within 16 Avenue, including construction staging to accommodate residents and the Birds of Prey centre,
Removal and disposal of existing asphalt surface and north curb line,
Supply and installation of approximately 575m of 600mm PVC sanitary main,
Tie to existing sanitary systems at the east and west ends of 16 Avenue,
Sanitary by-pass pumping,
16 Avenue surface works restoration and north side curb and gutter replacement,
Asphalt pathway installation,
Irrigation upgrades, topsoil placement and seeding landscape restoration.
The intent of this qualification process is to allow the Owner to rate and select eligible Contractors that will bid the necessary services to facilitate the construction of the above noted project.
