- The objective of this RFP is to select the most qualified consultant team based on their available team of professionals to provide the required detailed design (for the sanitary sewer trunk main and roadway) and associated construction service for the following:a) Perform detailed design for the construction of approximately 935m new PVC 600mmdia. sanitary sewer trunk main including:i) Replace existing 300mm-375mm dia sanitary sewer and manholes, includingservices.ii) Maintain existing services to residents / rate-payers along the alignment.iii) Consultation with Transportation and Economic Corridors for installation through theHighway 845 corridor including reclamation and replacement.iv) Evaluation of the existing roadway of 16th Avenue including grading and drainage.v) Re-design stormwater management / grading of curb and gutter / sidewalk along 16thAvenue.vi) Intersection design of 16th Avenue & 21st Street to include traffic calming measures and pedestrian crossings.vii) Intersection design of 16th Avenue & 21B Street to include traffic calming measures and pedestrian crossings.viii) Design approximately 1,000m of 3.0m asphalt pathway along the west side of Hwy 845 between 14th Avenue and 16th Avenue and along the north side of 16th Avenue to coordinate with pedestrian crossings at 21st Street and 21B Street.ix) Provide alignment of approximately 1,000m new electrical conduit for future Town of Coaldale owned, operated, and maintained fiberoptic network to be installed ...
