https://senecacollege.bonfirehub.ca/.This Request for Proposal ("RFP") is an invitation to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Comprehensive Surveying Services at Seneca Polytechnic's King Campus. This campus covers approximately 280 Hectares (690 Acres) that includes academic buildings, a student residence, wilderness, and the Eaton Hall event facility. The campus is used as a teaching centre for various programs throughout the academic year, as well as being used by the public for the enjoyment of nature.The purpose of the topographical and SUE surveys is to accurately map and document all existing surface and underground utilities to aid in future campus developments, ensure safety, and maintain compliance with local and federal regulations.Seneca's King Campus has undergone various expansions and renovations since the last SUE investigation was completed in 2011. Historical records of of both surface facilities and underground utilities are incomplete and possibly outdated, due to the age of the campus and the extent of past construction activities. This survey will provide essential data that will support the planning and implementation of future construction projects and is expected to provide a complete campus digital basemap for use by various Seneca stakeholders.
