Description : The Municipality of the District of Barrington (hereinafter referred to as “Municipality”)is currently accepting tenders from qualified individuals or companies to replace the vehicle weighing scale and system at its C&D Site. The purpose of this Tender is to solicit tenders from various candidate organizations, conduct a fair and extensive evaluation based on criteria listed herein, and select the candidate who best represents the direction the Municipality of Barrington. The scope of this project is to replace the deteriorated vehicle weighing scale and system at the C&D Site. The new scale must be a 3-panel heavy duty truck scale (approximately 70 ft.) with one set of rails on each side that are painted or rust proofed. It must have remote display with printer and include a computer program that inputs weights and tipping fees and is compatible with the municipal software of TownSuite. Tenderers must include all specifications for scale foundation.
