- Request for Proposal - Thompson Regional AirportAirport Redevelopment Project_____________________________________________________________Quality Assurance (QA) ServicesThe Thompson Regional Airport is located in the Northern region of Manitoba and is within zones of discountinuous permafrost, whichis causing differential substantial settlement of the Air Terminal Building (ATB) and adjacent infrastructure impacting the safety aerodrome operations. The Thompson Regional Airport Authority (TRAA) has secured funding the multiple agencies to design and construct a new ATB with accompanying infrastructure southwest of the existing facilities.Avia NG has been requested by the Owner to provide design and construction administration services for the Airport Redevelopment Project. Maple Leaf Construction (MLC) was awarded the project as the General Contractor on July 3, 2024, to perform the construction.The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to assist Avia NG select a successful consultant to provide both field and laboratory material testing quality assurance services for the airside scope of the Project.Potential Respondents are asked to register their interest by email to the Project Manager by providing their company name and contact information. Registration of interest is highly encouraged, but not mandatory in order to submit a Proposal.
