Description : Yukon Energy Corporation (YEC) is planning to replace 12.5 MW of retiring diesel units in line with its 10-year Renewable Electricity Plan. The Thermal Replacement Project consists of the following: Design, supply, procurement and installation of 2 x 2.5 MW of diesel generating capacity at the Whitehorse WD0 site to replace the previously retired 5.0 MW of generating capacity; Design, supply, procurement and installation of 2 x 2.5 MW of diesel generating capacity at the Faro FD0 site to replace the upcoming retirement of 5.0 MW of generating capacity; Design, supply, procurement and installation of 2.5 MW of diesel generating capacity at the S250 Callison Substation near Dawson City to replace the upcoming retirement of 2.5 MW of generating capacity at Dawson City DD0 Plant. YEC wishes to retain an EPC Contractor for the project (“Contractor”). The Contractor will work closely with the Corporation-s project team and its Owner-s Engineer, to design, procure, fabricate, pre-assemble the modular units, factory test, ship to site, construct the power plants and all appurtenances, final‑assemble the modular units on site, and commission the power plants in Whitehorse, Faro, and Dawson.
