Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to prequalify experienced subcontractors capable of completing portions of the Work with an expected aggregate contract value greater than $200,000 and $75,000 for material only supply for The Stephen Ave Project.As Calgary-s historic and iconic main street, Stephen Avenue / 8th Avenue is an important space for the public life in Calgary-s Downtown. The Avenue is directly connected to major arts, culture and civic venues, office towers, retail, dining establishments and downtown residential neighbourhoods, and serves as a primary destination for entertainment, tourism, business, and place for everyday life. Bold, innovative, and visionary, the Avenue is reimagined as an exemplary, forward-looking streetscape that links Calgary-s walkable urban core, downtown destinations, and diverse neighbourhoods through a first-class public realm. The Avenue will catalyse change for the historic urban core as a strengthened downtown neighbourhood, providing key amenities for residents, visitors, and businesses.
