Detailed_Description : Work under this contract is to complete installation system will enable water that has passed through the brood stock tanks to be pumped to the aeration building and used again for fish culture operations. The accompanying detailed design drawings and written project specifications are to be taken in their entirety to define the scope and deliverables for the project. The successful contractor is expected to supply the specified equipment and install the water re-use system. The project entails mechanical and structural components. The electrical connection for the new pump will be completed by the Ministry-s standing electrical contractor.
Scope of Work : In recent years, the water supply at the Dorion Fish Culture Station has become unstable and, during periods of peak biomass loading, the amount of water available from the head pond is insufficient to support robust fish culture operators. To remedy this situation, the Ministry hired KGS Group to design a water re-use system. This new system will enable water that has passed through the brood stock tanks to be pumped to the aeration building and used again for fish culture operations. The accompanying detailed design drawings and written project specifications are to be taken in their entirety to define the scope and deliverables for the project. The successful contractor is expected to supply the specified equipment and install the water re-use system. The project entails mechanical and structural components. The electrical connection for the new pump will be completed by the Ministry-s standing electrical contractor.
