Description:
Hard copy sealed tenders, clearly marked as to contents and on forms supplied by the City, will be received by Ms. Marsha Hawthorne, Purchasing Manager/Deputy Treasurer, City of Pembroke, Operations Department, 460 River Road, Pembroke, ON, K8A 1A1 until 2:00:59 PM, LOCAL TIME, Thursday September 18, 2025. Electronic submissions are not acceptable. Tenders will be opened to the public. The City will broadcast the tender opening by way of a Microsoft Teams meeting. Unofficial bid results will be emailed to all those who submitted bids, shortly after tender closing. Language of tender submissions is English. The general scope of work consists of reconstruction of an existing concrete retaining wall located adjacent to the War Memorial Park located at the northwest corner of Pembroke Street East and Mackay Street. The reconstruction works includes the removal and replacement of the existing wall, installation of a railing system onto the wall, storm drainage works, topsoil and sod, concreate sidewalk and curb work, and line painting. Anticipated date of construction completion is November 7, 2025. There is a mandatory site visit on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Bidders must register for the site visit by emailing purchasing.
