Description:
The Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen is seeking tenders from a qualified contractor with the capabilities of meeting the specifications, installation and timelines specified. The existing outdoor rink is in the hamlet of Cordova Mines within the Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen. The outdoor rink is located at 3360 County Road 46, beside the Township Fire Hall.
The existing concrete slab that was poured in July 2024 developed a number of defects that require repair as set out in the Statement of Work. The successful contractor will be expected to work with the Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen staff to establish pre-installation requirements. These requirements include but are not limited to removing one inch (1”) the entire existing slab and pouring a new bonded slab not less than three inches (3”) thick over the prepared base. Transportation and disposal of the removed material will be required.
