- Description:
- The Province wishes to solicit Proposals for the provision of Claims Adjudication and LTDI Adjudication, and general administration of the Plans. Benefits available under the Plans are: prescription drug insurance coverage, extended medical insurance coverage, dental insurance coverage, health spending account, flexible spending account, life insurance and long-term disability income benefits to over 27,000 Employees. The Plans are divided between Bargaining Unit and Management, Opted Out & Excluded.Depending on the Plan, the Province or the Trustees, are responsible for maintaining, administering, and interpreting the Plans. Administration of the Plans is contracted to a third party service provider. The Plans are self-insured, with the exception of the Group Life Insurance Plan, which is primarily insured under a Refund Accounting underwriting basis.The administrative services sought under this NRFP are exclusive of the plans- funding models, the latter of which does not form part of this NRFP.
