Description:
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“SaskPower”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of the transmission line construction services as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Work”).SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.SaskPower is working on reinforcement and expansion of its Northern Transmission System to facilitate the development of new and expanded mining operations in Saskatchewan-s Far North. This requires the construction of a new switching station (Taylor Bay) and a series Transmission Line modifications for its operation. Line Construction is planned for March 2026 - December 2026. This new construction will consist of a mixture of Lattice, Y-Guyed, Galvanized Steel, and Self Weathering steel structures.
