(The latter entity is inactive).Ornge is a corporation continued under the Canada Not-for-Profit Corporations Act. Ornge is a registered charity under the Income Tax Act (Canada) and, as such, is exempt from income taxes pursuant to Section 149 of the Income Tax Act. Ornge also receives the GST/HST Public Service Bodies- Rebate, and is subject to CBSA customs dues and GST/HST for imported goods/services.
