Description:
This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation ("SaskPower") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of TABLELAND SWITCHING STATION STAGE 1 CIVIL WORKS, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the " Work").SaskPoweris a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.The Contractor shall supply all labour, material, equipment, tools, and supervisionnecessary to complete stage 1 civil works for a new switching station located near Estevan, Saskatchewan.The Contractor shall be responsible for the following: Site preparation activities, including installation of geotextile fabric, 200mm of base gravel, and 75mm insulating crushed rock at the Site.Fence erection Installation of PVC ducting (50mm (2"), 100mm (4") and 152mm (6')), concrete vaults, and pull-boxes Installation of Precast Cable Trench, including all trench end caps, levelling blocks, tee transition sections and corners Grounding activities, including the installation of the completebelow grade grounding grid, grounding rods, underground tail connections, and above grade fence grounding
