Description:
This is a 2 Envelope Tender - refer to Part A - Instructions to Bidders.Location: 111 Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario, CanadaRefer to Part B Scope of Work items for warehouse details. All work included in this tender will take place off-site at this Subcontractor's workshop and will require an Offsite Storage Agreement, included at Part C Tender Package Documents.All leaded glass to be restored as per the Centre Block drawings and specifications included in Part C Tender Package Documents of this Invitation to Bid. (The files are uploaded to Egnyte file repository, provided by PCL/ED, a Joint Venture in a password protected link to Egnyte.) This specific scope of work is outlined in the reference "TG Procedures & Materials for Phase 2 Leaded Glass Restoration" and other supplemental documentation provided by PCL/ED, a Joint Venture (Refer to Part C Tender Package Documents).Qualified Subcontractors must be skilled and accomplished Heritage Leaded Glass Conservators/ Restorers, capable of carefully restoring Heritage Leaded Glass with materials, techniques, and quality workmanship, following building conservation standards and guidelines, as specified. The Qualified Subcontractors will draw on their extensive experience with proven, conservation practices to safeguard the Heritage Leaded Glass Windows of Centre Block.
