Tender are invited for The Information Management and Technical Services (IM&TS) Directorate of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) is responsible for supporting a number of business applications both within the National Capital Region and across Canada through Regional offices. The Government of Canada launched an initiative across all departments to transform the way information is managed, shared and secured, led by the Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) and Shared Services Canada (SSC).To meet this, IM&TS has a requirement to consolidate and develop corporate and operational applications. IM&TS will require support in the development of the proposed solution in addition to support a diverse set of applications using a broad range of technologies that could include, but not limited to, the following:• Ansible• Oracle Warehouse• Apache Tomcat• Oracle Fusion Middleware• BASH• PL/SQL• Cognos• REST• MS Azure cloud• SQL Server• MS Azure devops• SQL*DBA• MS SQL• SQL*Forms• MySQL• SQL*Menu• ODBC• SQL*Net• OLAP• SQL*Plus• Oracle Cloud• SQL*Repo• Oracle database and tools• Windows PowershellAs a result, IM&TS requires the establishment of a pool of IM/IT resources to assist it on an “as-and-when requested basis” to support development in addition to maintenance of the current legacy environment. These resources, for this SOW, are in the roles of System Administrator, Database Administrator, and Database Modeller.
