Description:
Schedule 1 includes construction services for removal and disposal of sludge from and existing sewage treatment lagoon. The contractor is responsible for planning the work, administration, regulatory and disposal of sludge and all ancillary related work.Schedule 2 of this project includes construction removal and replacement of the HDPE liner and existing sewage treatment lagoon facultative cell. This work includes survey, environmental activities, clearing and grubbing, lagoon liner removal and disposal, lagoon unsuitable material removal and disposal, lagoon base construction, lagoon base drainage and venting system, lagoon synthetic liner replacement, and site amenity replacements.The client is looking to have the sludge removal completed in 2023 and the lagoon liner and earthworks in 2024. The work includes bypass pumping from the anaerobic treatment cells into the storage cells for the duration of the facultative cell shut down work.
