NALS provides testing services for the surrounding community using state of the art instrumentation and up-to-date standards that address pollutants in water, air, plants, and soil. In the summer of 2021, NALS achieved the ISO/IEC 17025 International standard for testing and calibration laboratories, meaning it can produce and provide reliable water, soil and air test results for both UNBC researchers and external stakeholders.
