- Cape Breton Regional Municipality operates four facilities: Centre 200 located in Sydney, the Cape Breton County Recreation Centre in Coxheath, the Miner-s Forum in Glace Bay and the Emera Centre Northside in North Sydney. Centre 200 is an arena and convention facility that hosts Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League games, Trade Shows, Concerts, Live Shows and other spectator events. The Cape Breton County Recreation Centre or County Arena is primarily a hockey arena that hosts Minor Hockey, Cape Breton High School Hockey as well as specialized hockey tournaments such as the Red Cup High School Hockey Classic. The Glace Bay Miner-s Forum hosts Glace Bay Minor Hockey, high school hockey and other special events. It also has a restaurant operating full-time as well as a community room that will host special events. The Emera Centre Northside hosts Northside Minor Hockey, high school hockey and various community events. It also has a community room and other meeting rooms within the facility.
