Description:
Dalhousie University has a requirement for an Uncrewed Surface Vehicle (USV). The purpose of this Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN) is to signal Dalhousie University-s intention to award a contract for the supply of a USV.
Based on evaluation of submissions to a Request for Information OR a market assessment for this project, it is believed that there is only one Supplier(s) capable of meeting the requirements for the supply a USV.
Before awarding a contract, however, the University provides other Supplier(s) with the opportunity to demonstrate that they are capable of satisfying the requirements set out in this Notice, by submitting a statement of capabilities during the posting period.
If other potential Supplier(s) submit statements of capabilities during the posting period that meet the requirements set out in the ACAN, the University will proceed to a full tendering process in order to award the contract.
If no other Supplier(s) submits, on or before the closing date, a statement of capabilities meeting the requirements set out in the ACAN, a contract will be awarded to the pre-selected Supplier(s).
