Description : The nEXO experiment has been designed to study the properties of neutrinos by searching for a very rare neutrinoless double beta decay process in liquid xenon that would show that neutrinos are their own anti-particle among other things. The Single Photon Avalanche Diode (SPAD) array technology has been chosen for the detection of scintillation photons of liquid xenon. TRIUMF has developed experimental setups to characterize the SPAD arrays for the nEXO experiment. This RFQ is being issued to identify a Proponent to enter into a nonexclusive Contract between a Proponent and TRIUMF INC. (“TRIUMF”) to supply a mutipurpose Optical Parametric Amplifier (OPA) laser system for the light source update of the SPAD characterization system. - Documents:
