Description : TRIUMF UCN project requires two large storage/dump tanks to contain cryogenic gases. In operation these gases (or most of each gas) will be in a condensed state in the experimental apparatus. When the apparatus is shut down or a failure of the system occurs, these gases should end up in their respective reservoir tanks at room temperature. There are two such gases to be recovered, primarily due to their substantial expense: 1.Deuterium, i.e., heavy hydrogen. This tank must meet provincial regulations regarding hydrogen vessels. 2.Ultra-pure Helium. - Documents:
