Description:
On behalf of the Region of Peel-s Long Term Care Homes (LTC Homes), the Regional Municipality of Peel (the “Agency”) requires one qualified Vendor with experience in long term care environments for the supply and delivery of assistive/mobility devices for individuals residing at the LTC Homes and individuals participating in the Agency-s Adult Day Services (ADS) program.
Residents of the LTC Homes shall be referred to as the “Resident”, likewise, clients of the ADS program shall be referred to as the “Client” herein. All services in this Document will be supplied at no cost to the Agency or the LTC Resident regardless of the mobility equipment vendor of origin. ADS clients will be serviced on an “as required” basis.
The bid document will be posted https://peelregion.bidsandtenders.ca when available. This procurement is issued in accordance with the terms of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), and other applicable trade agreements
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
The Bidder must:
be an authorized vendor for the province of Ontario-s Assistive Devices Program (“ADP”) and unless otherwise approved by the Agency is listed on the province-s website as an authorized ADP provider in the table at https://www.ontario.ca/page/mobility-aids; and,carry a full range of Assistive/Mobility devices. The Bidder must confirm the above in the applicable areas of the Online Bidding System forms to be given any consideration for award.
