Description:
This project involves all labour, material, transportation and equipment necessary for the Supply, Delivery and Installation of ± 516 handheld shower heads for the Cornwall S.D.&G. Human Services Department - Housing Services Division as per the specifications herein.
This scope of work involves four properties: 15 Edwards, 24 Augustus, 120 Augustus and 540 Adolphus. The Successful proponent will source the handheld shower heads to the specifications included with this tender, remove the existing shower heads and replace them with new products.
Defective units must not be installed; they are to be returned to the supplier for a replacement by the contractor. If a unit contains a personal showerhead installed by the tenant, it is to remain in place; the contractor must record such instances and submit a log of affected units to Housing Services. Unused products must be returned to the Housing Services. The contractor will only be paid for the showerheads being installed.
All showerheads must be installed and verified to have no leaks and function according to the manufacturer instructions. A licensed and certified plumber must install the products.
