Description:
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“SaskPower”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Supply and Installation of Autotransformers, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Goods”).SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.The Work is comprised of the supply of multiple high reliability three-phase auto-transformers that require minimal maintenance and have an extremely long expected service life. These auto-transformers will be used in the SaskPower grid for serving loads with extreme variations in loading, ambient temperature, and high emergency loading conditions.The approximate number and type of autotransformers included in the Work are as follows, with each transformer having a different delivery location and delivery date: Two (2) 138-72 kV 60/75/90 MVA transformers One (1) 138-72 kV 80/100/120 MVA transformer Two (2) 230-138 kV 90/120/150 MVA transformers Three (3) 230-138 kV 180/240/300 MVA transformers
