This RFP is for a contract that generally includes the design, furnishing, inspection, testing, coating and erection requirements for new welded steel tanks for transformer insulating oil tanks at the Oil Management Department (OMD) Tank Farm near 88 Avenue and 124 Street, Surrey, BC.
Please refer to the draft Contract included with this RFP for more details on the scope of services, technical specifications, and scope delineation (Appendix D, and Appendix G).
If awarded a Contract, the Preferred Proponent will, without limitation, be expected to comply with BC Hydro's new mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy as of January 10, 2022. Refer to separately attached Nov. 12th supplier notice COVID vaccination policy.
Delivery or completion date is December 2023
This procurement may involve negotiation.
This opportunity is subject to Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
