Detailed_Description : This is a multi-lot Request for Bids (RFB) for the supply and delivery of pieces of heavy equipment for the Remote Northern Airports.
Scope of Work : The Ministry of Transportation is seeking to procure a range of heavy equipment to support airport maintenance operations at Remote Northern Airports. These units will be used for a variety of critical maintenance tasks such as surface preparation, snow removal, vegetation control, and power supply for remote operations. All equipment shall be delivered to the Remote Airports Office MTO Yard, from which it will be dispatched to designated airport locations across Northern Ontario.The following equipment is being procured:a)Eight (8) compact track loaders with brush cutting attachments. One of the units shall also include a hydraulic-driven snowblower and a hydraulic-driven auger as attachments;b)Five (5) four-wheel drive, rubber tire loaders;c)Five (5) detachable, loader-mounted snow blowers;d)Two (2) four-wheel drive motor graders;e)One (1) four-wheel drive, multi-purpose tool carrier; andf)One (1) single-drum, vibratory soil compactorBidders may bid on the supply and delivery of one or more types of equipment.
