Tender are invited for : Supply and Delivery of Custom Cables & Harness Assemblies.
Project Description : This RFP is open to all interested vendors.Calgary Transit (CT) is a business unit within the City of Calgary (The City) that is seeking proposals from qualified firms who are able to provide custom Cable and Harness Services on an if and when required basis. These services include the designing, manufacturing, assembling, testing and quality control of prototypes with the ability to provide Computer-Aided Design (CAD) documentation and engineered drawings. This will encompass a wide range of requirements include but not limited to interior/exterior, low/high voltage, single/multi-conductor supply cables, communication cables, support equipment test cables and junction blocks. The products and services covered under this RFP will be used to support the maintenance and operation of various buses, light rail vehicles (LRV), light and heavy fleet vehicles, support equipment and associated communication equipment.This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.The Agreement will be for an initial term of one (1) year. The Agreement may be renewed for three (3) times for two (2) years each time, not to exceed a maximum of seven (7) years.
