- The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is inviting proposals for qualified vendors to be part of a Supplier Roster for the purposes of supplying pre-manufactured traffic signs, barricades, and sign making materials on an as required basis to support operations at the Municipality-s Sign Shop which is located at 21633 Communication Rd., Blenheim ON (Kent Centre). This Sign Shop is operated by the Public Works Department.
Chatham-Kent's sign inventory consists of approximately 20,000 traffic and information signs which are maintained by Public Works forces in nine (9) different divisional garages across the municipality. A large majority of these signs are produced in-house at the Sign Shop by technical staff. In addition to manufacturing signs, the Sign Shop is also responsible to supply and distribute barricades and other traffic control devices to the different operational divisions as well as manage sign stock for all divisions.
Materials and items that would be requested under this contract would include, but not be limited to, the following:
• Pre-manufactured Regulatory, Warning, and Temporary Condition signs
• Barricades, barrels, cones, and other temporary devices
• Variable Message Signs
• Metal sign blanks, posts, brackets and associated hardware for sign installation
• Reflective sheeting, film, and tape for sign manufacturing
• Printheads and ink cartridges compatible with an HP Latex 365 printer - Documents:
