Description: City of Melfort Works&Utilities Department Sub-Base Gravel Tender the City of Melfort will Accept Sealed Tenders up until 2:00 P.M. Friday, Dec. 2, 2022 to Supply 1,000 Cublc Yards of Sub-Base Aggregate at the City Storage Site. the Aggregate Shall Comply with the Following Specifications: the Aggregate Shall be Composed of Clean, Tough, Durable Rock, Free from Injurious Quantitles of Soft or Flaky Particles, Organic or other Deleterious Materfal. the Sieve Specifications are as Follows: Sieve Size Percentage Passing 100% 90% 65% 75%- 150.0 75.0 25.0 12.5 50 10% 0%-60% 90% 45% 900 400 45% % O%-7% 07% Um a Plasticity Index from 0 -7 will be Allowed. Anything above that will be Rejected. Lowest or any Tender not Necessarily Accepted. Tenders will be Awarded on an Indivldual Basis. Samples of Aggrogate Must be Approved in Contractor\'S Stockpile Prior to Delivery, Haulling Wil not Start until a Sample can be Tested to Ensure Compliance with Sleve Analysls and Approved. the First Sileve Analysis will be Covered by the City.
