Description : This proposed work is for the installation of the mass notification devices / system which is a continuation of the fire alarm system upgrade project completed two years ago. Site Tour An optional Site Tour will be held on April 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM PT at: Vancouver Island University 4 University Crescent, Building #4 Student Residences Nanaimo, BC, V9R 6C5.Bidders are to meet VIU staff at the entrance to building #2 Student Residences Bidders are asked to pre-register for the Site Tour by submitting the Receipt Confirmation Form in Appendix 1. Bidders can only send one representative per company, who must adhere to VIU-s COVID19 protocol of wearing a mask and keeping 2 metres physical distancing from all other attendees during the tour. For this site tour, due to COVID - 19 Bidders will not be able to enter the site due to students occupying the Residences. This site meeting is to see the location of the work and an opportunity bidders to ask questions. VIU will not be responsible for communicating information discussed at the Site Tour to bidders who fail to attend, and will not be obligated to arrange another opportunity for bidders to access the site.
