Description : The purpose of this Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is to invite qualified proponents (the “Proponents”) to submit proposals (the “Proposals”) for the Horseshoe Bay Berth 2 Life Extension project (the “Project”). BC Ferries anticipates receiving Proposals from Proponents by the date specified in Section 3.0. BC Ferries expects that the Preferred Proponent will then become the “Contractor” by entering into a fixed price contract (the “Contract”) for the Project, whereby the Contractor will be responsible for the execution of all specified tasks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing the project timeline, coordinating with subcontractors, and delivering the final product in accordance with the design specification and agreed budget.
