Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is inviting consulting firms to apply to be placed on a quick response consultant source list to provide "as and when required" professional services related to commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional construction work required by the Department of National Defence, at Valcartier Garrison and DRDC (QC). DCC plans to establish a structural engineering consultant source list. Typical services consist of preparation of a statement of requirements, preparation of concepts, design development, construction documents, assistance during the tendering and construction phases for the construction of a new building or renovations to an existing building.Note: Engineers may be called upon to subcontract architectural services as part of certain mandates Only consulting firms with offices within 75 km of Valcartier Garrison (de la Victoire Street, Building 72, PO Box 1000, Station Forces Courcelette Qc G0A 4Z0) will be considered for inclusion in a source list. NOTE: If a firm or any other associated company as defined in section 256 of the Income Tax Act ((1985, c. 1 (5th supp.), has more than one office or division within the radius mentioned above, only one office or division may apply for inclusion in a source list. Each source list will be established for a period of three (3) years with an estimated maximum value of up to $600,000 for each source list.
