Description:
Notice is hereby given that the Corporation of the District of North Vancouver (the "District"), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide a Streetscape Collection Vehicle. The exact vehicle is a 2025 Ford F550 Haul All M16R with gas engine, automatic transmission, 4x4, at a value of $254,576.00 including all shipping costs, taxes, duties.

Background:
The District of North Vancouver is in immediate need of a streetscape collection vehicle to replace our current unit which is no longer operable, in order to maintain critical operations.
Direct Award Justification:
In accordance with applicable trade agreements, the District has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reasons:
a. The District requires a unit which is in stock in order to maintain critical operations as we cannot wait for the delivery time of a new unit;b. To the best of our knowledge the unit offered from Rollins Machinery is the only unit which is in stock and meets our required specifications.
