Description:
The City of Yellowknife is interested in entering into a contract with a qualified organization for the purpose of providing a Street Outreach Program (SOP) to persons experiencing homelessness. More specifically, the City of Yellowknife, is seeking services, which will create a service delivery model for at-risk, individuals experiencing homelessness, high-need individuals who require an intervention-based non-emergency response, often directly related to substance use/abuse and mental health issues. This team will deliver an integrated coordinated response to vulnerable people in Yellowknife, and ultimately help to free up law enforcement and medical responders by diverting social issues back to community resources.
