the purpose of this request for qualifications (rfq)process is to qualify service provider(s) with the required capability and capacity to provide strategic market development planning to b.c.`s agrifood and seafood industry under the b.c. Agrifood and seafood market development program as described in the rfq (section 4).
this request for qualification process will establish a list of qualified suppliers that will be eligible to provide services to program applicants on an as, if, and when requested basis. The list of qualified suppliers will be posted on the third-party delivery agent`s website. Program applicants will be responsible for selecting a qualified supplier of their choice from the list and working with that qualified supplier to scope out the project (i.e. Scope, cost, timelines, deliverables, etc.) so that the program applicant can utilize those details to complete the project details section of the application.
once the application is fully complete, the program applicant will submit the application directly to the province`s third-party delivery agent for adjudication.
respondents should note that the list of qualified suppliers established as a result of this rfq will be used by program applicants and not by the province. Any contract resulting from use of the list of qualified suppliers will be between the program applicant and the qualified supplier.
for greater clarification, the province is not procuring the services of any qualified supplier under this rfq and will not be entering into any contract with any qualified supplier.
