JOHN'S INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AUTHORITYAPRON I EAST RECONSTRUCTIONCONTRACT NO., LHI-2100-0880Sealed Tenders on supplied forms will be received by St. John's International Airport Authority Inc, Box 1, 3rd Floor, Airport Terminal Building, 100 World Parkway, St. John's, NL A1A 5T2, until 2:00 p.m. local time on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2025.Scope of Work:The Works proposed under this contract generally includes: - The reconstruction of Apron I at Stands 9 through 12 and the partial reconstruction of Taxiway Delta and Taxiway Mike including: - Full and partial depth asphalt milling - Removal and replacement of existing storm sewer structures - Granular placement and compaction - Asphalt paving - Edge and surface restoration - Removal and re-installation of inset centreline and elevated edge lights - Removal and installation of new airfield lighting cable, conduits, and pullpits- The optional rehabilitation of Apron I at Stands 2 through 8 including: - Partial depth asphalt milling - Asphalt paving - Removal and re-installation of inset centreline lightsThis project marks the fourth year of the St. John's Airport proposed $28 million, four-year airside infrastructure upgrades program and will include the rehabilitation of the airside pavements, lighting, drainage systems and other airside safety enhancements.
