Description : NOTICE OF INTENT (NOI) 3909 Issued on October 3, 2023 Splunk Cloud The Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, ICBC, hereby gives notice that it intends to direct award a contract to CDW Canada Corp., located at Suite 1700, 185 The West Mall, Etobicoke, Ontario M9C 5L5, for the following products: (1) Splunk Enterprise Cloud licenses (2) Splunk ITSI licenses and (3) Splunk data storage. CDW Canada Corp. is an authorized reseller of Splunk product licenses and support services. ICBC uses Splunk on premise as a core capability for complex, real-time, 24/7 network log management and monitoring. Splunk is a foundational technology solution as it is deeply embedded in ICBC-s IT operational and replacement at this time would cause significant inconvenience and costs. ICBC intends to have a 3-year contract. The overall value is approximately $ 2,500,000 plus taxes over 3 years. ICBC-s current IT strategy is to consider cloud applications before on-premise applications. As part of this direction, ICBC will be adopting a cloud version of the Splunk application for log management and monitoring of its IT landscape.
