Detailed_Description : The Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery (MPBSD) will ensure that it is providing employees with disabilities, injuries or illnesses and their managers with access to a qualified Vendor listing for special medical, health and workplace assessments and support services.Specialized assessments support effective disability management in the OPS and are, at times, a key component in keeping individuals in and returning them safely to work. Special assessments such as those described below are used to support employees to facilitate timely employment accommodation.1 - Job Demands AnalysisThe Job Demands Analysis is a detailed assessment of the physical, cognitive, behavioural (or psychosocial) and environmental requirements of a job(s).2 - Disability Related Ergonomic ServicesErgonomic assessments will be conducted to identify appropriate accommodation options for employees with complex injuries or physical disabilities including but not limited to vision and hearing.3 - Functional Abilities Evaluation ServicesA Functional Abilities Evaluation (FAE) measures an Employee-s functional physical ability through a variety of standardized tests and activities.4 - Assessment and Coordination Services (Independent Medical/Health Evaluations)The services may include but are not limited to Orthopaedic, Neurological, Psychiatric, Forensic Psychiatric, Occupational Health, Physiatry, Psychological and Neuropsychological reviews or examinations.5 - Job CoachingA qualified practitioner works directly with an individual in the workplace to help him/her to relearn the work or approach the work in a manner that allows the worker to perform and meet the essential duties of the job.6 - Comprehensive Vocational AssessmentA Comprehensive Vocational Assessment (CVA) is to determine an individual-s interests, abilities, aptitudes, skills, education, and employment experience and provide a transferable skills analysis.

The Bidder must bid of the service area(s) they are interested in.Service Area 1 - East, Central and West RegionCentral Ontario - Durham, Halton, Peel, Toronto, York, Simcoe, MuskokaEastern Ontario - Frontenac, Hastings, Kawartha Lakes, Lanark, Leeds and Grenville, Lennox and Addington, Northumberland, Ottawa, Peterborough, Haliburton, Prescott and Russell, Prince Edward, Renfrew, Stormont Dundas and GlengarryWestern Ontario - Brant, Bruce, Chatham - Kent, Dufferin, Elgin, Essex, Grey, Haldimand Hamilton-Wentworth, Huron, Lambton, Middlesex, Oxford, Niagara, Norfolk, Perth, Waterloo, WellingtonService Area 2 - North RegionNorthern Ontario - Algoma, Cochrane, Kenora, Manitoulin, Nipissing, Parry Sound, Rainy River, Sudbury, Timiskaming, Thunder BayA Bidder may bid on any or all of the service areas identified within this RFB. A Bidder is not required to submit a bid for services for all service areas. In the event a Bidder does not complete a Commercial Envelope of a particular area, the Bidder will not be considered for the VOR arrangement for that area. A Bidder may not be successful in each area it identifies itself as willing to provide services.
