Solid Waste Transfer Station

Description : The new Solid Waste Transfer Station is to be constructed to improve the solid waste management practices for Cote First Nation (CFN). The current solid waste facility (as well as two other historically used sites) utilized by CFN are currently being decommissioned and therefore no longer adequately serve the waste management needs of the community. The Contractor-s scope of work includes (but is not limited to) construction of the transfer station access road, trenching and preparation for one (1) nSaskPower underground power line, new transfer station facility including reinforced concrete sawtooth retaining wall and truck ramp, procurement and placement of 2.44 m x 6.10 m site office, traffic guardrails, culverts, drainage tile, fencing, light posts, site signage, security cameras, quality assurance testing, site grading, and revegetation of areas impacted by the work. Please note the Issued for Tender revision of the drawings included with the June 30, 2022, MERX tender posting do not include engineer seals and signatures. The engineer signed and sealed drawings will be re-issued as an addendum prior to tender closing. The details and information included within the drawings posted on June 30, 2022 will not be different from the version posted with the future addendum, only the seals and signatures will be added.
