- Tender are invited for Solid Waste Removal & Disposal - 5x LSDs in Victoria County
Tender Details SCOPE
This Invitation to Tender consists of solid waste removal and disposal services for the Department of Environment and Local Government as per the attached Specification.
The resulting Contract shall be for a THREE year term, from February 1, 2022 to January 31, 2025 with the option to renew for FOUR (4) additional ONE-year terms upon mutual agreement by both parties.
EXCLUSIONS
All Items detailed within this Invitation to Tender do NOT include the villages of Perth-Andover, Aroostook, and Plaster Rock.
CONTRACT AWARD CRITERIA
Each Vendor's bid will be evaluated on a TOTAL PRICE FOR THREE YEAR TERM basis. The TOTAL PRICE FOR THREE YEAR TERM will be calculated as follows:
VENDOR'S PER-HOUSEHOLD PER-WEEK PRICE ("Unit Price Including Discount")
x NUMBER OF HOUSEHOLDS WITHIN ITEM ("Quantity/Unit")
x 156
= TOTAL PRICE PER GROUP FOR THREE YEAR TERM
The Vendor submitting the lowest TOTAL PRICE FOR THREE YEAR TERM for the FIVE (5) Local Service Districts (LSDs) will then be subject to a reference check. Acceptability of the reference checks will be at the sole discretion of ELG.
