- The Regional District of Mount Waddington (RDMW) is requesting submission of Proposals from qualified Proponents to assist the Regional District and its member municipalities in revising its 2020 Interim Solid Waste Management Plan. The new plan will set the legal framework in how waste, recycling and waste reduction is managed as well as to evaluate how our systems are working and to recommend areas of improvement. The sequential 5 R pollution prevention hierarchy (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover, Residuals Management) will be used as a tool to evaluate and prioritize future improvements. Any recommended changes to our management strategies will consider the implications of such strategies including cost.
