    Description : The window coverings have reached their life expectancy and primarily consist of horizontal venetian blinds and are installed on the first floor to the seventh floor levels. A survey and investigation of the blinds found that a majority of the existing blinds are dirty and dusty, with many found to be damaged. Supply and install automated solar blinds, which will improve tenant thermal comfort, offer improved outdoor views which can be beneficial to overall tenant satisfaction and work productivity while at the same time reducing heating and cooling usage and GHG emissions of the building. These can be either fixed panels that are made to measure to the proposed IGU frame and turned around by maintenance staff between the heating and cooling seasons, roller shades or another suitable alternative (with and/or without motorization).The consultant shall use the IAR tool and complete energy and savings calculations with payback periods to assess the energy, cost and GHG savings potential from the options considered for the entirety of this Study. A more detailed list of project deliverables and requirements will be included in an addendum.
