Project Description : This Request for Information (RFI) is issued by The City of Calgary (The City), on behalf of The Calgary Police Service (CPS) for the purposes of gathering general information and available options for Soft and Hard Body Armor. The responses received from this RFI will assist The City to gather information in support of the potential creation of a subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP) and may lead to contract award through the evaluation of proposals. This is an opportunity for potential vendors to respond with their proposals, innovative and cost-effective ideas that will help The City understand what types of products exist in the industry and determine requirements for a potential RFP.No commitment exists under this RFI and no award will be granted. This opportunity is published solely for the purpose of collecting market information and obtaining a list of potential bidders for the future RFP.
