PDC purchases products on behalf of government and distributes toprograms within government and the described organizations./Our client (s), The Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction provides grants andsupport for health supplements, medical supplies, medical equipment, and devices for medically fragile citizens of BC who are receiving income support through the Ministry. The program also supports most At Home Clients serviced by MCF who age out of the At Home Program who meet the HAB eligibilitycriteria. 6,983 clients were actively being serviced by PDC at the end offiscal 2018.The Ministry of Children and Family assists Parents and Caregivers of medically fragile children 0-18yrs with some of the extraordinary costs of caring for achild with severe disabilities, living at home, through a range of health supports and services. All children on this program meet at least 3 out of 4dependencies for daily life (eating, washing, toileting, dressing.)
