- Halifax Water is soliciting proposals for the provision of engineering consulting services to assist in the evaluation of heat pump installations for space heating at several of our Small Systems Water Supply Plants Bomont, Miller Lake, Collins Park, and Middle Musquodoboit. Halifax Water would liketo investigate the energy savings, cost savings, and greenhouse gas emissions savings associated with installing air source heat pumps to heat these facilities. Integration of these systems into the existing plant HVAC infrastructure and plant SCADA systems must be considered, while maintainingcompliance with CEC, NBC, NFPA, ACWW, and OH&S guidelines.
