Project Summary:
The existing train Communication System connects on-board staff or passengers with the Central Control Room and communicates voice, alarms, statuses, and system health data. The existing Communication System has reached its capacity and cannot support SkyTrain's future expansion plans. TransLink and BCRTC therefore require a modern communications solution that resolves the obsolescence challenges and supports the planned expansion of the SkyTrain service.
