Description:
The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) is seeking proposals to establish one (1) to up to three (3) Standing offers (SO) for provision of on-demand simultaneous interpretation services in-person and virtual such as French to English and/or English to French. The need may be for in-person, virtual or hybrid events. The interpreter(s) will be required to interpret complex scientific language. The requirement includes three (3) categories of services: ? Category 1 - In-person simultaneous interpretation (for meetings held in the NCR only) - Full Day (up to eight (8) hours). ? Category 2 - Virtual Simultaneous Interpretation (for meetings located anywhere within Canada) Half day (up to four (4) hours) ? Category 3 - Virtual Simultaneous Interpretation (for meetings located anywhere within Canada) Full day (up to eight (8) hours) For hybrid events, the offeror will provide a quotation based on the required number of in-person and online interpreters at the time the service is requested. Offerors MUST bid on Categories 1, 2 and 3 to be compliant with this RFSO. It is anticipated that there will be up to three (3) Standing Offers awarded as a result of this Request for Standing Offer from the date of issuance to March 31, 2026, with the option to extend up to three (3) additional one (1) year periods.
